Why Poland Is The Big One

Poland is the largest economy in Central Europe — 38M people, €750B GDP, the largest single B2B market in our expansion roadmap. 1.5M+ registered companies across KRS (legal entities — ~500k) and CEIDG (sole proprietors — ~1M). Estonian, Latvian, and Lithuanian companies frequently target Polish markets for cross-border B2B sales — we've had requests for Polish data from 30%+ of our Baltic customer base.

What You'll Get At Launch

Complete coverage of Polish business entities: Sp. z o.o. (private LTD — dominant SMB form), S.A. (public LTD), spółka jawna (general partnership), spółka komandytowa (limited partnership), and CEIDG-registered sole proprietors. Each record includes name, NIP (tax ID), REGON (statistical number), PKD industry code (Polish NACE), registered address, registration date, and verified email where publicly available.

City Coverage Plan

Warsaw (the capital, ~280,000 active companies — finance, IT, government, professional services), Kraków (~85,000 — tech hub, automotive, tourism), Wrocław (~65,000 — IT, manufacturing, growing tech scene), Poznań (~55,000 — logistics, manufacturing, services), Gdańsk + tri-city Sopot/Gdynia (~70,000 combined — maritime, IT, port economy), Łódź (~50,000 — manufacturing, logistics), Katowice/Silesia conurbation (~60,000 — mining/industrial legacy, modern manufacturing). Plus 20+ smaller cities.

Industries to Target

Polish IT/SaaS sector employs 450k+ developers (the largest in CEE — outsourcing capital of Europe), automotive manufacturing (Volkswagen Poznań, FCA Tychy, Toyota Wałbrzych), pharma (Polpharma, Adamed), retail/e-commerce (Allegro is the dominant marketplace), logistics (gateway for Asia-EU trade via Baltic ports), banking/fintech (Warsaw stock exchange dominant), and construction (rapid urbanization). All historically active B2B email markets.

Pricing Plan

Poland will require a new pricing tier given the market size. Expected: 'Poland Plus' at ~€299/mo (10,000 emails + Polish data on top of Estonian), 'Poland Pro' at ~€499/mo (25,000 emails + multi-country), and 'CEE Enterprise' at ~€1,499/mo (Poland + Baltics + 67,500 emails + 10 mailboxes + dedicated CSM). Existing Baltic customers can add Poland data via a paid add-on (~€199/mo for Pro tier and above).

FAQ

When exactly will Poland launch?
Q4 2026 — targeting October or November. Waitlist members notified 3 weeks before launch with early-bird access and pricing.
Why does Poland take longer than Finland?
Three reasons: 1) much larger data set (1.5M vs 380k records), 2) two registries to integrate (KRS + CEIDG), 3) Polish address normalization is harder than Nordic (more variations, regional naming conventions). We're being deliberate to maintain data quality.
Will Polish customers be able to buy BalticLeads?
Yes — we accept Polish PLN payments via Stripe at launch. Reverse-charge VAT for B2B customers with valid Polish NIP. UI will be in English at launch with Polish translation following Q1 2027.
Is cold email legal in Poland?
Yes for B2B — Poland follows EU GDPR Art. 6(1)(f) (legitimate interest). Polish ePrivacy implementation (UKE rules) requires unambiguous opt-out — BalticLeads' List-Unsubscribe + suppression list satisfies this. We'll publish a Poland-specific compliance guide before launch.
What about the Russian-speaking Polish business community?
Polish business is overwhelmingly Polish-language for SMB. English works for tech/SaaS. Russian is rarely used in Polish B2B contexts (despite proximity), German for western/southern industrial regions (former Prussian territories). Ukrainian is increasingly relevant given recent migration.
